Soviet pole vaulter Gennadiy Gusyev - 1973 USA v. USSR Indoor Meet in Richmond VA


My law school classmate, Ron Draper, competing in the Pan African International Meet in 1971. He was rated sixth best hurdler in the world by Track and Field News at that time. He was one of the many world class track athletes at North Carolina Central University coached by Dr. Leroy Walker (who was USA Olympic coach in 1972). Ron was a gifted athlete whose technique was as good as any hurdler.
